Crowded Teeth

Crowded teeth occur when there is insufficient room within your jaw for your teeth to be naturally spaced. If not treated, crowded teeth can cause a number of dental complications including tooth decay, gum disease and the interference of the teeth’s natural function.
Widely Spaced Teeth
This problem occurs when the jaw bone abnormally continues to grow, causing large gaps between the teeth. Due to these gaps, teeth can become misaligned because of the extra space and can become susceptible to periodontal disease.
Overbite
Often referred to as ‘overjet’ by dentists, this condition occurs when the patient’s upper teeth bite a long way in front of the lower teeth in a horizontal plane. Overbite can be caused by various conditions, including abnormal overdevelopment of the upper facial bones that support the top teeth, an underdeveloped lower jaw, habits such as thumb-sucking when young, or even genetics. Untreated, this issue can cause pain in the jaw joints, irritation and problems with the gums as well as unnatural lower teeth wear.
Crossbite
Crossbite is misalignment of both the upper and lower jaws. As a result, one or more of the upper teeth, on either the front and/or sides of the mouth, bite within the inside of the lower teeth. A crossbite can cause bone loss, gum disease and deterioration of the teeth through continual, unnatural wear.
Invisalign can rectify all of these orthodontic conditions by using custom-made Invisalign aligners to treat your specific dental condition and achieve a beautiful, confident smile.
