Implant Costs

Implant Costs

Dental implants do require a significant financial investment, but our patients tell us that the advantages of implants make them well worth the expense. Dental implants are far superior to other methods of tooth replacement as they are fixed in position, and do not involve drilling of any natural teeth. Treatment with dental implants can do wonders for restoring self-esteem and confidence lost through missing teeth and dentures.

As a general rule, expect to pay about NZ$5700 for a dental implant and crown at our practice. This fee covers all standard surgical aspects of your implant, and the final crown. If you require replacement of more than one tooth, costs per tooth will often be less. For example, three teeth missing in a row can usually be replaced with two implants and an implant-retained bridge for an approximate fee of NZ$12000. Alternatively, your lower denture can be secured with two implants for approximately NZ$5750.

Cheaper care is certainly available, for example in some countries overseas, however there are substantial risks involved. When overseas treatment suffers complications the cost to redo or remedy it often exceeds the fee which could have seen the treatment completed to optimal standard at our practice. At our practice we pride ourselves on the exceptional quality of our services and the experience of our dentists, and we stand behind our work. Dr Worthington has placed more implants than any other dentist in New Zealand and his synergy with Dr Sauer produces exceptional outcomes for patients.

To avoid surprises, all of our patients are provided with a written treatment plan and quotation after their initial consultation with Dr Worthington or Dr Sauer. As all treatment is provided within our practice, there are no hidden costs. We also offer financing options to work with your budget.
