
Dr Lee has lived in New Zealand since 1991, after moving from Malaysia with her family. She completed her high school qualifications in Auckland before embarking on her dental degree at University of Otago. Dr Lee graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1996.
Upon graduation, Dr Lee worked as a Dental/Oral Maxillofacial House Surgeon at Christchurch Hospital where she gained invaluable experience in the fields of Primary Care, Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine. Dr Lee then moved back to Auckland where she worked in various Accident and Emergency and private clinics in Birkenhead, Takapuna, Newmarket and for 10 years, in Glendowie.
Dr Lee is passionate about the provision of comprehensive dental care and enjoys many aspects of dentistry particularly in the fields of Preventative Dentistry, Crown and Bridgework, Implant Restorations and Paediatric Dentistry. She prides herself on her ability to communicate clearly and openly with her patients regarding full treatment options to ensure that they are motivated and well-informed. Her warm and caring approach has resulted in many loyal and long-term associations with her patients for well over a decade.
On a personal note, Dr Lee is married to Craig and is kept busy with two young children, Adam and Maia. When not at work, she is active in her children’s school community and events. Dr Lee is also supportive of her children’s sports, music and dance extracurricular activities.
